I decided to use a new address, one that was only for ebay customers. I chose Hotmail.
When I access hotmail it takes perhaps 30 seconds to load page and each email I open also takes about 30 seconds. I know this might not be the place to ask, but I hope someone here has had the problem and solved it.
It may be that dang Hotmail advertisement on the top of each page. I know I read here a way to stop those annoying animated ads. I remember wrong though, I thought it was just to hit the "escape" key which does nothing.

What Internet Browser are you using? IE? Which version? What kind of connection to the internet do you use? Hotmail isn't known for being fast, and lately it's been a tad buggy.

There are two things people can do to fix slow/buggy internet access like you describe:
1. Reload your browser, or change your browser to a different version/product. Internet explorer not working well on the web pages you are accessing? Try netscape. Or vice versa. Or go to microsoft/netscape and get the latest version.
2. Turn off java. A lot of the stuff that slows/blows up a browser is that d*mn java stuff. Of course, some sites won't work at all with it, but it may be you don't need it, and everything may run a lot better/faster.
Good luck.
PS - try accessing it at an off-peak time. Slow brower response might be the internet itself and/or the server too.
