A question for Canadian buyers: Do you have to pay a customs fee on any package no matter the value coming thru Canada Post? Thanks.

Answer is no, seems to be hit & miss I've found with my incoming shipments from U.S., but still, more often than not I get the slip from the post office -- we get dinged for the 7% GST tax on the item, plus a $5.00 "customs handling fee" no matter what the value of the item!

Canada Customs charges GST [Canuck Taxes] on anything over $20 Cdn, and on any *gifts* over $60 Cdn.

Unless you get lucky ........

...and what does THAT have to do with taxes. I thought it was the only thing the Canuck government didn't tax.
