I just received an email from a woman who claimed to be the high bidder on one of my auctions. I had remembered LISTING the item, but it didn't have much value, so I didn't really pay much attention to it. Well, I looked at my completed auctions, and could not find the auction! I was finally able to locate it by looking at the buyer's completed auctions.
Now..that is solved..BUT..I just noticed that I have ANOTHER disappearing auction that is currently running...just not on my auction page! Is this common?? I am now wondering about OTHER small ticket items that I thought didn't sell..( I ALWAYS know where the BIG ticket items are...). I wrote Ebay, but it could be days before I hear from them. Has this happened to anyone else????

I know what happened. Happens to me all the time. Did you list your items several at a time?

Whenever you bulk-upload items (through ANY service), ebay has this glitch where it doesn't index your seller's list and it looks like your auctions are missing some.

Write to ebay at [email protected] and ask them to reset your auctions. I write to them EVERY DAY to reset my auctions because every time I list (which is on a daily basis) several of my auctions don't show up.

Ebay will respond if you write to that address USUALLY within a couple of hours. Then you will see all your ended auctions (including the missing ones) and if any are missing now, they will show up.

The best thing to do is count how many auctions you have listed each day. Count how many were added on your seller's list. If they aren't all there, write to ebay and just ask them to reset your seller's list and they will all show up.

Good luck!

Thanks! I DID bulk upload. I just wrote to Ebay again. It happens to you every WEEK???? I think I've been living in a fog...never occurred to me that this could happen....One more thing I need to watch out for!

It happens to me every DAY! Every day I list, that is! A pain in the neck... but all you can do is write to ebay and ask them to reset your auctions.

Make sure you use this address or it WILL take them days to reset your auctions, instead of a couple hours:

[email protected]

If you have not had bids, you can also go through the "revise auction" link. You don't have to change anything, just go through the motions, and it will reappear in your listings after you verify your "changes". If you HAVE had bids, you can add something to the item description, and it will appear then, too.

Pain in the butt. I now set my auctions to go off every 15 minutes.

Thanks, KIDSFEET..and others! I just revised the auction and it worked! Now, Ebay will write me tomorrow and say I made a mistake because they can see the auction..it's right where it belongs..yadda..yadda....
