I had a recent buyer contact me about a shipment that I'd sent out, which took longer than he thought it should (this after he took over three weeks to pay). I've noted in the threads here that many of you use delivery confirmation. My question is whether or not DC is of any value long term? In my area the DC usually shows up 1-2 months after delivery, more than enough time for a disgruntled or dishonest buyer to slam me with negative feedback.

I use the USPS Delivery confirmation. It costs .35 and can be tracked online to see when delivery was completed.

DC, insurance, registered, certified, return receipt requested- it doesn't matter if you can prove you sent the shipment, or that he received it. None of them will stop a dishonest bidder from leaving negative feedback, if that's what he decides to do.
