A lot of what I listed on the Free Listing Day last week has ended today. I sold most things [though a bunch closing later tonight have no bids yet, yikes!]. Many closed with a single bid. Only a few got bid up in any meaningful way. They all have profit built in, but doing the back-end work on bunches of $3 auctions will be, I guess, less than stimulating.

My auction still have loads of times left I figured for free might as well get all its worth.
Bidding for me this week is slow I only have a few bid right now some items getting tons of window shopping.
the 10 day listings did me good when ebay was down every night few weeks back but I believe they are hurting my sales now cant win them all I guess we will have to hope last min bidder remember me

Keziak..I listed all but 6 of mine as 10 day auctions so about 60 will end Sat evening and the rest will end Sunday.
Of the 250 I listed, I have had bids on 115 items with a good proportion of those with multiple bids. So far the total is almost $2200. I listed most of my items at $14.99 and $9.99.
The 6 that were listed for 7 days (I goofed on those!) ended this afternoon. Of those six, three had bids before today. One of those 3 got a bid yesterday and got no more bids..the other two of the 3 had a couple bids each from earlier but started moving yesterday when they hit the "ending today" list and then got sniped for more right at the end.
The remaining three, which had not been bid on before today..two got action right at the end and sold a little higher than my opening bid...the third didn't get any bids.
I'm expecting to see some of the items that have no bids now start getting bids tomorrow or Sat depending on when they hit the "ending today" list...and I'm expecting to see some of those that have bids now go up some more.
By 9pm Sunday night my time I will know just how well this free listing did.

Like Amy, I set most of my auctions for 10 days but screwed up a few. I was very happy with the closing prices on everything that ended today though.
Pretty much everything I listed on free listing day was stuff that I didn't expect to sell profitably- it was either my old stuff (cleaning out the closets) or stuff that was left over from box lots I bought or stuff that fell into the category of "what was I thinking when I bought this anyway"? the highlight so far was an item that I bought for 25¢- it closed at $24.00. That isn't something I would ordinarily brag about but I did think it was remarkable considering I didn't think I'd find anyone who even wanted to pay shipping on the thing. Funny how wrong I was- I ended up with an international high bidder, & since it's a breakable item, (s)he will probably end up spending quite a bit on shipping. You just never know!!!!!!!
