Oh, and don't expect a refund either. I tried that earlier this last week when eBay was "Not Available" and my auctions ended without a single bid, I asked for a refund of fees (a couple dollars). Their clever response was that no outage had occured!
HELLO!?
Hmmm . . . for the 6 hours before the auctions ended, attempting to pull up any of our auctions ended in failure - pages would time-out. Overload? Who knows? Everywhere else on the net was loading into my browser just fine. SO it had to be caused by eBay. But eBay refused to refund minicule $2.50 worth of listing fees for that day, as if we've ever asked for such a thing before. NO! YOU CAN'T HAVE IT! WE KEPT YOUR AUCTIONS FROM LAST MINUTE BIDDERS USING OUR WATCH FUNCTION, AND NOW WE'RE SCREWING YOU!
Sorry to shout, but basically eBay's policy to only refund under a very limited list of certain circumstances is bullsh*t in my opinion!
So, don't expect any sympathy from eBay on the problems that they caused you.
