I am a relatively new buyer and seller. I am very religious about giving feedback to someone who has won my auctions. However, it seems like no one is leaving me any. I know it sounds petty, but it makes me feel good to see my feedback numbers go up, since it gives me more crediability. Does anyone have the same problems, and is there any suggestions to "help" my buyers "remember" me? I don't want to come across as a Feedback Junkie. Thanks, all.

I always send a card with my item to remind them if they leave good feedback they get good feedback! If I'm selling I wait until the buyer has left before leaving mine.

babs, just give the best customer service you can, and the feedback will come.
I am one who does not leave feedback until the buyer notifies me that she/he has received the item. I enclose a thank-you note with all my items, and explain that I do not consider the transaction finished until I know they've received their package. I state emphatically that they do not have to leave feedback first, they just have to send me a quick email, and I will leave feedback for them. Many leave feedback without the email, some do both, and some do neither.
I recently got this note in a package (a half.com purchase): "Thanks for your order! I am a new seller with half.com. If you agree that I've done my best to be a good, accurate seller, please post feedback about me. If not, please email me and I'll do my best to help you . . . ."
I've never liked the idea of asking for feedback, but I did think that was as tactful a way of asking as I've seen. I did not mind that she asked, because of the way she phrased it. (Yes, I do know that Half.com says not to put anything in the package except their print-out, but I think many sellers know lots more about customer service than Half.com demonstrates.)

I email bidder a scan of Shipping Receipt and I leave feedback at end of transaction, once I know bidder has received item. I thank them again and let bidder know I shall be leaving feedback..(hint...hint..)
As a Bidder, I respond to Seller's EOA, telling them I pay promptly and always leave feedback (again hint..hint ). I then email a scan of M.O. receipt.....
Seems to work 2/3 of the time...
