Hi,

I've been reading the forums here for about a week - a day before I found them I signed up for a PayPal account. Now after reading the horror stories I have decided to drop it and sign up for Billpoint instead (I'm from Canada so this is the only other service I can use).

I was wondering how do I delete my PayPal account. I don't want these guys to have my credit card # any more. I've looked on their site for the last 20 minutes and can find no reference to this.

Login at PayPal and click on "Profile" in the bar at the top. You'll come to a screen with a link on the left to "Close Account".

Thanks for the tip - I'll get rid of it right away.
