I am a colloge student who has time to around 20 auctions a week, but my funds are limited around $1000 i am willing to put towards e-bay. I was thinking aboy doing cyberrebate but i dont have time to let my money sit around for months just to get cheap products. Doed anyone have any idead to helpme. I've been trying to find a good wholesaler for cologne but to no avail. I dont have time to sell little things like all the collectibles I have at home. If anyone can help me with a good source, it would be most appreciative.

Dave -- I know you came here looking for help with wholesale sources, but with limited resources you may be better off trying another money-making route.

1) Everything I've heard about buying wholesale indicates that one needs to invest large chunks of money in inventory in order to buy that way.

2) Ebay is norotious for bringing low prices on wholesale-type goods.

3) You'll need a lot of time (which you've noted is limited) to devote to any kind of selling.

You're in college; that's great. Taking the right classes and doing well in them will earn you far more money in the long run than trying to make a quick buck by selling wholesale goods on eBay. If you have any kind of technical or logical inclination, get a computer science degree and there will be dollar signs in your future.

If you need immediate funds, get a part-time job -- or better yet a paid internship in your field.

Good luck with whatever you end up doing!

If anybody has a good source for "big things" that sell for a good profit, they're probably too busy listing them on eBay to spend time here recruiting competitors. At least, I would be...

YOUR A COLLEGE STUDENT RIGHT ? OK, HERE IS WHAT YOU DO. gET THE COLLEGE GIRLS ON YOUR CAMPUS TO POSE FOR NAKED PICS AND SELL THEM ON EBAY IN THEIR ADULT CATEGORY. LOW OVERHEAD, SIMPLE PACKAGING, AND ALOT OF SALES. THATS THE ONLY WAY I SEE YOU MAKING IT ON EBAY.
