What became of the traditional green eBay title banner on the auction page? Now it's sky blue.
I liked the green banner. I identified it with eBay. I remember when eBay attempted to make its auction pages look more like Yahoo's, a number of us spoke out to demand the return of the classic eBay green banner.
And now it's blue!
Why would they arbitrarily change it like that? What benefit is there? It's as if Coke were to change it's red and white logo to orange and white. It makes no sense to me.

Lavender here, too....You might need (or WE might need) to adjust the Gamma on our monitor screen.. (just teasing you...) Yes, I kinda liked the green also...Old habits die hard.

I just went to look at an auction I'm interested in and it looked SO funny. Then I realized the banner was different. I see a lavender-ish color, too.
I don't like that kind of change, either. It doesn't add anything to the site or it's usefulness so why bother? And I think the purpley color looks chintzy.

Well DUH! I've been listing and checking auctions all day, and I didn't notice it until I read this thread. It's lavender on my monitor, and I like it. Very pretty!

I've got lavender....(pukey purple)....Messin' with the colors around the Christmas season, one might think that red or green or blue might have been a good choice...But purple!..I don't like it....Nope not one bit....
