Okay, no lectures..I'll be chalking this one up to live & learn.
The instant on-line information appears to have a nasty glitch. I was at the end of loading around 300 auctions when I noticed it.
The box for shipping, handling & insurance has a "0" already entered there. If you have a shipping charge of $1.25, put your cursor right before the "0" & enter $1.25, it shows up as $1.250.
No problem, right? Then submit & go to the verify page..look down in the instance purchase box & guess what...the shipping, handling & insurance shows up as $0.00.
Huh? Go back, try it again, this time delete the "0" & try again, this time the correct amount shows up.
For fun, go in & enter $1.5 before the "0", it works. Enter $1.50 which shows up as $1.500 & it shows up on the verify page as $0.00.
Apparently the "0" is treated as some kind of field & if you don't delete it, you run the risk of zeroing out your shipping charge.
I'd notified ebay about this. But with the "revise" feature these days taking forever to use, I have the feeling I'm going to eat a LOT of shipping charges this time.

Gee thanks, Bill. After all this time do I seem like the type of person who'd be found at a Dixie Chicks concert? I Don't Think So!
Okay, the good news is (after checking as many of the damn auctions as I could) that while the "verify" page may show a $0.00 in the column, it shows up in the listings correctly. Whew!
