A while back, a seller on the eBay Bauer Pottery site was selling a small color photograph of stacked Bauer plates. He said the photo was used for the L.A. Crafts & Folk Art Museum's Bauer Pottery show in '96. He had no further information on the photographer, Peter Brenner.

How can I get in touch with this photographer? Thanks in advance for any leads!

Hello roadsmith. I believe Peter Brenner is currently the head photographer for LACMA, Los Angeles County Museum of Art. I'm sure if you do a search for LACMA you can find their phone number and maybe they can put you in touch with Brenner.

Peter Brenner was also the photographer for the Bauer book BAUER: CLASSIC AMERICAN POTTERY by Mitch Tuchman and Jack Chipman and if you can locate that book you may be able to obtain his contact information.

HO! LY! COW!

I cannot believe how fast you all were with the answer to my question! And I even have a book, I now discover, with photos by Peter Brenner (about Bauer Pottery, natch). Duh--if only I'd looked.

I've been trying to find him for quite a while. I should have known my pals on AuctionWatch would have the answers. I can always count on you folks.

Bhearsch and Silkmoth--that was toooo funny! Were you practicing your sniping or what?

Again, thanks loads.
