This is ridiculous. You can't re-list anything. It's a waist of time. This started back in August and it's still not fixed! When you write them they blame it on your browser. What a joke. Everyone knows that it's their database causing the problems. What is amazing is that they don't seem to care.
Fact: It worked fine 6 moths ago.
Fact: They upgrade and it breaks.
Fact: I never get this when surfing any other site but ebay.
Ebay must have a bunch of idiots in the IS&T department. I've been in this (I.T.) field for over 20 years and I have never worked anywhere where this would be acceptable.
Ebay is Joke!
I notice that there are a lot of threads about sales being down. Well there are a lot of factors. Competition, Bad PR, etc... but a major factor has to be the site's stability and thus customer dissatisfaction.

I've also had nothing but problems when relisting auctions. However, I found out if I switched to Netscape and tried to relist from there I had no problems at all. Are you trying to relist with Internet Explorer?

Util this is fized - they should not charge you if your item doen't sell. That way you can just list, list, & list but not re-list.

Try listing on yahoo, and you will see the huge difference, and its free! I have repeat customers on eBay emailing on how to use Yahoo, so I feel like a teacher lol. Here is one I got from a yahoo newbie today. I am loving this. It proves bidders are migrating.
Hi, This is the first time that i have ever bid on yahoo and i wanted to bid on your tie dye candlelamp it wouldnt let me bid because it said that you needed 3 bids. I dont know if you have ever used ebay but you can check out my rating on there. I have 50+ positive comments and my ebay id is ************. thank you look forward to hearing from you ****

have tried clearing your cache with netscape closed? i've found that doing it this way really solves a lot of netscape freezing issues. the fat.db file can get corrupted easily which causes most of the freezing issues.
also, how much RAM do you have? how many apps do you have open at once? when was the last time you rebooted your computer?
i've noticed if i've been playing winamp, i need to reboot my computer if i want to do anything else.
also, what kind of connection rate do you get? are you using dial up or dsl or cable or isdn? if you use dial up, check your modem connect rate in the modem properties in the control panel and make sure that number is set to just above your average connection speed. you might be getting dropped because of that. do you have call waiting? this could be the cause.
just some ideas.
