OK, I'll admit it. I haven't tried any of AW's auction tools. I use my own template and list directly on eBay. I use eBay's 'feedback not left' feature to control my closed auctions and my 'my eBay' page to keep track of current ones. Hey, it works.
What am I losing out on by not using AW?
What are AW's best features and what do you like about them?
Thanks

Hope Pat doesn't close this as being promotional in nature.

I don't like any service's "post management" tools. I like to email my customers directly and deal with them on a one-to-one basis.
I DID like their picture hosting service, but then they changed it - if you don't access a picture in 90 days it will be deleted. I have over 2000 pictures saved by AW and as the items sell I delete them one by one. So I didn't like that latest "feature".
I also liked the way you could save auctions offline and bulk upload them all at once. But half the times you get synchronization errors and you can't upload and then the other half of the times it takes hours for your auctions to "process" and they end up loading hours after you actually wanted to.
So I have finally switched back to Eposter. At least when I say to "post now" it posts.
I do like their message boards, however. The best I've seen yet.

I like the ease of putting pictures on my auctions.I'm not computer savvy and I had such a problem trying to upload pictures, I had just about given up.
I like the choice of templates.
Answers to questions by the techs are usually quick and clear.
I think the boards and the people that post here are the best. I even like the moderators.

My favorite feature is being able to schedule a listing in advance for a specific time and date to launch, which you can't do at Ebay.

chococake,
Thanks. I was beginning to wonder if the moderators would make the list.

Let's see .... I really love the fact it's free, great selection of templates, ability to track my auctions, ability to host pictures and add as many pics as I want, ability to copy and make adjustment to an auction, ability to launch my auctions whenever I choose to, yes, these boards, I can go on & on. I haven't used post auction features either. I also believe in personal attention. I have a lot of paperwork to rummage through, but it keeps me out of trouble .

I like the fact that the intelligence level of the posters on AW seems to be very high, and the moderators are flexible. Very few people get away with making ridiculous comments because someone sets them straight with cold hard facts. The moderators seem to step in only when absolutely necessary, which I think is great. I also like the picture hosting services and the templates. We need a Buy It Now section to list on eBay though (for any moderators listening).
I wish AW had some kind of "after auction email" I could send out to my bidders that didn't have all the other steps attached---something that just said, Hi, you won X, please let me know how you wish to pay. Thant would simplify my life considerably without ticking them off with going to another site and typing in info.

Free photo hosting for those of us who lack FTP and the ease of listing for those of us not too sharp in the use of our computers and not to mention being able to launch at a designated time. Also the fast and personal technical help given by AW and the intelligent postings on this board.

THE BOARDS!
I gave up on Auction Mangler and I won't subject my winners to the PSM run-around!
The free service(woof!) I use now is sadly far superior to AW, IMMHO!
However, their boards are anemic compared to AW's! The people here are great & can teach you alot!

AW photo hosting is the best.
The listing auctions was great - fast html editing and viewing on one page, good templates to choose from, easy to add multiple pics. Not too, too thrilled about the listing format now as it takes much longer too add pictures - and in the right order- and to view and edit html errors.
But it is still a very good listing service for free.
