Good evening and happy holiday to all.
Shipped a package priority mail on 11/7. Ohio to Texas. The item has not arrived. USPS confirmation number says shipped 11/7. thats all.
Has anyone noticed priority taking a lot longer? What else, besides going to the post office, can I do?

I know this is the first one I've had a problem with. It has me worried though.
Luckily I have another of the exact same
item, just in case.

I think there might be a system slowdown. I send priority packages to Hawaii all the time and the longest time a package has ever taken is 4 days. Most took 3. My last package took 6 days.

i've never yet had a package LOST in the mail - but in the past few months I've had 3 PRIORITY mail packages (under 2lbs each) that took almost a month to get to my customers.

I hope it didn't go by way of Oregon. That's where my Priority package got lost!

i remember that shortly after the USPS started priority service there was some publicized uproar about packages taking much longer than the few promised days. the USPS responded that it was a new service and that they would soon get the glitches out. in fact service did improve- for a while. it is now very unreliable once again. they won't volunteer the actual efficiency rates but i wonder if anyone knows how to access this info. i know some people who have said that regular mail sometimes arrives faster!!!????

I recently had a package take 19 days to get to me...New York to Kentucky. I was just getting ready to file the insurance claim when it showed up.

I'm awaiting an AL GORE SIGNED brochure from Washington, D.C. which was supposedly mailed First Class 15 days ago! So I guess it's not just packages that are taking a long time.

Since the beginning of October I've had three payments not show up - The customers all sent replacements, but it makes you wonder when it's more than one...

I went to the local PO today. They said all I can do is call the 1-800 number. I called the 1-800 number, they did take a report but informed me that there was no guarantee that the package would get there in 3-4 days. Also informed that they count only business days, not Saturday or Sunday. Said very nicely that they would inform local post offices on both ends to look for the package. Whoopeee
