I had an auction close over a month agoa. Not a big ticket item. I contacted bidder said would pay that day by MO,10 days go by no MO, so I emailed them, answered right back that this was the wife and she would pay it, they had lost shipping info so please resend, well I did , still no payment, so I filed NPB report, Antoher email, they lost address please resend, again no payment or response to emails . I filed for FVF , Email tonight says" So sorry, lost your address could I resend address and they would send out asap..." So now what, they know I have filed for FVF , I have left no feedback yet. What should I do?I for one am tired of sending shipping address, this makes 4-5 emails with my shipping info? How should I feedback..

Neg them for no payment. Relist the item and quit letting them waste your time.

CLASSIC e-bums!
They will string you along forever with the hopes that time runs out before you can get your fees back and leave neg. feedback. I would email them one more time and tell them that this is it, payment must be received by such and such date or fees will be refunded by ebay which puts a mark against their standing, and you will leave a negative for non-payment. That way they have been warned and will have no reason to retaliate.

PS - keep an eye on the date of the end of sale, you have to apply for an NPB alert before 45 days have passed, I think - don't let it slide - that is what they want!

NEG THEM !!!!!!!!!

It is your duty as a fellow seller to warn the rest of us abbout deadbeats like these.

If they want to play games let them do it elsewhere !!!!

Nuff' said.

I have also been having problems with deadbeat bidders. First, they do not answer emails and I have to followup on that. Second they say payment will be sent out tomorrow and 12 days later still no payment. I send email asking where payment is and they do not respond. I am wasting too much time chasing these people and I agree that nonpaying bidder alerts should be filed and other sellers should be aware of these buyers. They are wasting my valuable listing time by having to chase them around. When I purchase something on ebay I sit down and write a check that day or the next morning and it is on its way. I fail to understand what could possible be their reason for taking so long to respond. After all, if you have the time to bid, you have the responsibility to send payment. You can not go in to a grocery store and purchase groceries and then tell the cashier " I will be back later with the money"....

I would do exactly what they have done to you. IGNORE them...

They're hoping that you'll accept payment and then notify Ebay that they've paid, so the strike against them for NPB is removed. Apparently some people use this tactic regularly. My first NPB tried it also, exactly the same scenario. Ignored everything up until the FVF notice, then wanted to pay. Tried to cover it up in her response to the negative feedback too.

Here we go with another deadbeat story. Eighteen days after the auction, buyer said they would send payment. Payment never received. Does not answer two emails I send to buyer. I file NPB. Suddenly, I get this long email stating "Sorry I found my check at the bottom of my purse". I have been busy with work, a son and a husband". I was going to pay by check but I will get money order right out to you...Do these people have a little book of excuses. I have heard them all lately including I was in the hospital for two days (meanwhile I check and they were actively bidding and buying on those days they were in the hospital). I was not aware that a computer access to ebay was a hospital perk nowadays. Thanks for listening to my venting...
