I know lots of people like to Pay Pal bash but as the owner of 2 brick and mortar stores, one of which is 20 years old, let me compare my two credit card acceptance accounts:
Now, of course there are other companies - and other plans for both brick/mortar and
Paypal. BUT if you have not run a brick and mortar store chances are you do not realize that even with its problems Paypal can be a good thing. If it makes your customers happy why not use it? Most things in business cost money, credit card acceptance included. It all comes down to customer service. Customers want quick and easy service. Paypal offers this, especially with instant purchase buttons, which I use now. How much is a seller willing to do to keep a customer happy and coming back? The happier the buyer - the more he returns and bids - and the higher the bids become. In the end, the seller is the true winner. The small amount you pay today will bring you more money in the future. Always look at the big picture - not just one individual piece of the puzzle.
