Well, it had to happen eventually. I finally recieved a negative feedback. I had a close call before, but I talked the buyer into a partial refund deal.
This buyer didn't seem to read that the item I was selling was a no-box deal, which I put in bold, but didn't bother to even ask a question.
Should I neg the buyer? What upsets me the most is he didn't contact me before posting a negative feedback.

Sorry to hear about your first negative. It's not really that big a deal, sometimes it's almost a relief (like the first ding on a new car). I believe most people look for a pattern when checking feedback, one or two negs will not cause you any real harm.
Personally, I would not leave a neg but a neutral, factually explaining what happened. Make sure you respond to the neg in your own feedback, stating the facts of the transaction.

Uggg....the first one is always the worst!
If you do respond to the neg, keep it unemotional (this usually requires a few days of kicking the wall before you get to that point). State just the facts.
