Smoothsale.com is currently offering a special in which they will give you $1 for each of your auctions that you put a Smoothsale button on. The maximum is $100.
It took me about 10 minutes to sign up. You then have to add at least 1 item to your inventory (much like listing an item on Ebay.) Then they have a form that will add their button to all of your auctions.
The whole process took me about 15 minutes and I will supposedly be getting a check for $100 in 30 days. Not a bad deal.

They bill you 2% IF the sale is completed through their system. But you don't actually have to use the system in order to get the refund -- you just have to sign up and then put the logos in your auctions.

As I understand it, the 2% fee is for items sold through their system -- upsell items, not your eBay auction items.
A smoothsale rep is posting to another board. She says the 2% is waived until January... although the web site says nothing about this.

Did anyone have trouble placing the buttons on their auctions? I signed up and tried to place a button, and the SmoothSale site wouldn't recognize my Ebay id and password. The SmoothSale help person doesn't seem to know why this happened. I tried several times over 2 days, so it wasn't just a one time glitch .... any suggestions?
