Hi, all. I'm soon-to-be-selling, although I have been buying a wee bit for a while. In the former capacity, I've begun to read this forum, and have learned a lot from you -- I send you a huge thank you for this.

It occurred to me today that most of you have earned my trust, based just on your posts here. Soooooo, I would love to check out some of your auctions. How do I do this though? Doing a seller search by your posting name hasn't turned up a single thing for anyone I've tried. Is there somewhere I can click to find out which auctions belong to a particular seller, or do posters here prefer to be anonymous in that regard?

Thanks again for all you've taught me!

Colleen

You will find that the majority of people here prefer to remain anonymous. It can sometimes cause problems if you post under your Ebay user name....

On the other hand, there are still a few of us who post here under their ebay ID.
Feel free to check out my auctions .
Now that ebay has transaction only feedback I think the "threat" of problems is greatly diminished...but then again, I've always been a real name poster with no troubles to date, I'll deal with them if and when the happen.

Hmmm ... one pro and one con from two pros who don't con (sorry *giggling* had to get that out of my system). Looks like it's a matter of personal preference.

Okay -- I'll certainly check out the auctions of anyone who wants to let me know where to find it. Thank you!

edited to say it would have worked if doc hadn't beaten me to the post by 50 seconds :>

Thanks more!

kerrydaway

The problems I was referring to were actually caused by sellers venting about a problem they had with a buyer. I did this once and did not expect the buyer to be identified. The person was sent a nasty email by someone inviting them to the thread and things got a bit messy.... Afterwords I felt bad because this person's reputation was trashed... Deserved or undeserved, That was not my intent...

Outoftheblue....Point taken, that scenerio didn't cross my mind, and I'd be very irritated if it had happened to me.

Gee, I never really worried about trying to hide who I was - and always put the link to our about me page under my name. The only reason I'm hinz here and hinz1 on eBay is because I messed up when signing up - LOL.
