I have a lid in the Iris and Herringbone pattern, but am not exactly sure what it fits. The lid is just under 4.5 inches across, 4 inches high to top of spire. Looks too large to be a sugar lid. Is it a butter lid?? Candy?? Any help would be appreciated, I would hate to list it incorrectly. Thanks.

Hi, I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Do you have a picture you can post? That would probably help a lot.

Hi, sorry, my digital camera broke last week. I hope Santa will bring me a new one. This lid is either a candy, butter, or sugar lid, looks to big to be a sugar to me. The info in Gene Florence's book does not give dimensions for lids, they all look alike in the photos.

ws7411 - I have a butter dish somewhere, but can't find it (must be under a stack of books somewhere

I also have a candy dish without a lid, and the measurement across the top where the cover would rest is 5 5/8 inches. So I am guessing that you have a butter cover.
