Hello,

I am sorry to hear that you received a bad credit card from this buyer. I appreciate you bringing this information to my attention.

I am writing to let you know that this user has been suspended from use on eBay.

We are currently gathering information about this type of activity and we will be working with law enforcement on this case. You may want to consider contacting authorities in your area, as well as authorities in
the area in which the buyer resides. If a detective is assigned to your case, please ask them to contact us so that we can work together to bring this matter to a satisfactory resolution.

You may want to file a fraud report with The National Fraud Information Center. We have provided the link below:

National Fraud Information Center:

http://www.fraud.org

You can file for a credit of your final value fee and also send an alert to the buyer for non-paying bidder by going to the following URL:

http://pages.ebay.com/services/buyandsell/finalfee.html

We hope that you are never faced with this type of situation again in the future. However, if you do face this unpleasant situation again, I wanted to give you some information on our Insurance Program.

With our Insurance Program you may be entitled to recover a portion of the cost of an item under certain circumstances, by filing a claim with our Insurance Program. This program is available to qualified buyers at no cost. To qualify for this program the following conditions need to
apply:

The final bid amount for the item needs to have exceeded $25.00. This amount does not include shipping costs for the item.

The buyer and the seller must have a net feedback rating of zero or above.

Insurance must be filed within 60 days of the end of auction.

The maximum amount paid for any one transaction is $200 and there is a
$25 deductible that applies to every claim. This means if your bid amount was $200 or more the maximum amount that you will receive would be $175. More detailed information can be found at the URL I have
copied for you below:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/community/index.html

Although we can work our hardest to help you resolve these matters when they occur, we realize this doesn't take away from feeling let down about the item you were looking forward to. We hope that the Insurance
Program will help to relieve some of these disappointments for our members.

I hope that this information helps. Thanks again for writing to eBay.

Regards,

Gretta
