Hi all. I bid on a outfit for my daughter. And won the auction. I recieved a email from the seller telling me she noticed three stains on the back pocket. That she hadn't noticed before. She has asked me how do I want to handle this. I usually don't buy clothes that are stained. And since she had not stated that in her auction would it be wrong to back out of this. And I am not sure what I should tell her.

I think it would be OK to back out. After all, that's probably why the seller disclosed the new information to you, because the item was different than described in the listing (stained). She probably wouldn't be surprised if, given the facts, you were no longer interested in it.
Maybe you could suggest calling off the deal and exchanging positive feedback for both being honest and understanding?

I think it's definitely OK to back out of the deal. I recently won the auction for a pair of great quality corduroy pants in a tall size. When the seller was ready to send them, she noticed that the tag said they were a tall but the previous owner had hemmed then to 27"! ! Well, I need at least a 32 inseam, so we mutually called the deal off, left positive feedback for each other, and went on our way.
