GET THIS...
I recieved a payment registered mail the other day. My postbox is one of those super boxes they have on everyother block in a neighbourhood...each address has there own key supplied by the post office.
There is a card in my box addressed to me to go to the post office to get the registered mail. I arrive with the card and they ask for ID. I show them my DL ...they would not give me my mail because my address was incorrect on my drivers license..I just moved last month. She then said if I had some mail addressed to me she would give me the mail....I jsut handed her the friggen card that they mailed me to get the registered mail and it had my name and address on it..she says that is not mail!!
I had tons of id with my name on it..the key to the box they supply and the card...at this point the line behind me was getting quite large and I was not about to give up...then the people in the line started coming down on her...she finnally gave in and gave my mail to me...what a joke!!!

Good for you, lowprofile, for your persistence. I imagine that clerk has a pretty pathetic life if they need to do things like that to feel powerful.

Please oh please !!!! Would that have been the same stupid clerk if someone else was trying to get your mail and they did not give it to them? Rules and regulations apply to everyone but you, right?
