last week i had about 50 auctions up with 3 bids. In selling on ebay for over a year my percentage progressively went down to 50% sold, then %25 the to 3% sold . I ahve ranged in auctions up of 300 to 30 on at once. Am I the only one? Waht happened?

Perhaps it depends on what you are selling - our items are selling well but we handle many which can be given as gifts, plus many difficult to find pieces.

The past couple of weeks I've been selling vintage Christmas items. I've gotten bids on 90%, but they are way down from last year.

Depends on what you are selling the time of year what people are looking for and if the buyer for your Items are out there today.
I have been selling over a year started on yahoo and was doing great in the spring sales droped there I opened an Ebay account been selling on Ebay and yahoo 24/7 since august of this year.
sales have never been better for me, I'm a small seller I have never sold 50% of what I list but this past month on ebay has been my best in my over a year running these online auctions.
This week things are slow I think it because christmas gift buying is in full swing im not selling what most would buy as gift Items but I am still getting bids and made more then enough to cover costs and have a fair profit.
Im pretty confident things will be ok, sales might go flat till after christmas if last year will be any guide right after chirstmas a part of january and febuary Collectable sales will pick up to a good rate again and drop off till March and april.
Right now the people who had the money and planed bought whole item for christmas gift buying They are getting more bids I notice in my searching ebay and yahoo.
