Not if your auction says payment within 10 or 14 days. I also would ask why it would take a month????? Good point above too. Write him back and tell him for convience here are the websites that sell money orders.

He does not appear to be too interested in his purchase; I would be a little...gun-shy. If he cannot take the time - 10 minutes max if early, on his way to work - he is not a serious buyer.

I'm having to deal with a similar case. A woman who won a bid says I must take Paypal or she won't pay. I have asked her why she can't get a MO at least and pay. I don't take Paypal, and I mentioned that I took only checks or MO's in payment. I'm wondering if this isn't a new deadbeat tactic to get around paying and trying to weasle out of an NPB warning. I've run into several suspect no pays trying to play games this month.

Why don't I take checks someone says,It states in my auctions I don't take checks, why I don't take them should not matter, either they go by my terms or don't bid.

cb105:

I agree with you 100%.

The bidder should learn not to bid if he doesn't like the payment methods.

Hello Cb105,

"either they go by my terms or don't bid."

I think you have answered your own question.
