Last week I posted under "Unhappy customer" Well she sent back the item...and it is in perfect condition, nothing wrong with it at all. Can I write to e-bay about this -- I don't want to refund her. She already left me negative feed back. Please tell me if I am wrong. I still have the original picture, and is the same as the garmet. Please advise. Thanks in advance for your help.

What is your satisfaction guarantee if you have one? We refund item price only if pics match. We only refund full amount if we grossly misrepresent.
We always refund if the customer is not satisfied as that is our policy and provides greater protection to our buyers. In the year we have been selling we have only had 1 return for a fit problem. Great customer - refunded item price only. Re-listed and sold again.
As for the negative - respond without emotion - something along the lines - Monies refunded - buyer remorse - item as described upon return. Very factual - no emotion. Makes you look more resposible. The bottom line is this is retail and you will never please anyone. Close out the transaction and re-list - as Murphy's law goes you will probably get a better price the second time around. I would also add this buyer to my cancel bids listing for those you do not want bidding on your auctions - not because of the return but because of the negative without resolving first.
I would just refund item price, respond factually to negative and move on. I do not believe Safeharbor would be involved in this. Why risk this buyer e-mailing other customers etc. Since she./he left a neg I would also be tempted to leave a neg and say - something like - Beware - buyer left neg prior to discussing problem with seller. Monies refunded.

You are lucky she did not "create" a small defect!
If it were me I would refund her, but less the shipping charge. It's only right, you do have the merchandise back. If its perfect you might be entitled to FVF credit, but then I have a question about that one pending here now LOL.
It seems very strange. I would check that garment carefully. Perhaps it just did not fit her?
