I had a widget up in oct and high bidder didn't pay. I relisted it yesterday with Buy It Now. Well guess who got first bid MY DEADBEAT. Question is if I cancel her bid does auction go "live" again.

Give it a try. I know someone who meant to buy it now, but did a regualar bid instead. She retracted, and it brought the buy it now back. She then did the BIN. Can't hurt to try.

Was waiting to see if someone knew for sure. Told the jerk she owed me all the fees from the other auction too. Don't expect to hear from her. I may do it in a few more minutes.

Hello MandM50s,
I suggest that you email that bidder (with a copy to [email protected]) telling them never to bid on any of your auctions again before re-listing the item. Be sure to identify their userid/email address to safeharbor in the email.
Then, should they rebid you can report them to safeharbor and they will be banned from eBay.
Hopefully, that will prevent them from interferring with your auctions in the future.

Thanks for advice thats what I'm going to do. Tried to cancel her bid this morning but ebay said you can't cancel a bid after auction ends. What a mess!!!! Now have to wait that studid waiting period to get fees back.
