I am so tired of spening hours explaining ebay rules and how to do stuff to newbies.
I wrote a letter to powersellers: A paragraph from the letter:
In the last couple of weeks I have had 7 auctions for over $1000 where
people backed out of their auctions. All of them were newbies. Last
night once again I had to cancel an auction for a newbie who claims
"I am sorry but I never meant to bid for this item. I have no idea how
my email address went on this item. Please cancel my bid ASAP. Thank You".
I canceled the auctions because I do not want to run these people off ebay. I also do not want to go through filing NPB
and FVF and having to tie up my merchandise for several weeks.
Perhaps a new person orientation to the rules.
Their reply: Your idea for a new member orientation is a great suggestion and one I
encourage you to send to our Product Development department. Our Product
development team can be contacted at: [email protected]
I don't know about the rest of the sellers out there but when I see a zero bidding on
one of my items I absolutely dread it. I know that I am going to have to jump through hoops to please these people and spend hours walking them through ebay procedures and rules.
So sellers how about writing ebay about a newbie orientation.
