I just received this e-mail from NoBidding -
"NoBidding, Inc. is proud to announce the opening of AuXpal at http://www.auxpal.com.
AuXpal is a brand new auction site developed especially for members of PayPal
and is completely free to use. We are excited to say that AuXpal is the first
and only auction that offers automatic payments on all completed auctions.
That's right...at the end of every auction, the payment is processed instantly.
Funds are transferred from the winning bidder's PayPal account to the seller's
PayPal account within minutes of the auction ending. There are no extra forms
to fill out, no waiting period and absolutely no hassles. The days of asking
"How would you like me to pay?" have ended. Sellers don't need to worry about
"deadbeat bidders" anymore.
Please join us by visiting the site at http://www.auxpal.com"

What a great idea, although the forced use of PayPal...

That's right. You dont have to worry about deadbeats. All you they have to worry about is crooks paying with stolen credit cards, which Paypal makes so easy to get or charging it back afterward or making a fraudulent complaint to Paypal which results in your Paypal account getting frozen. Just visit http://www.ygoodman.com/paypal.html for a look at the way Paypal treats its customers.
All this assumes that the auxpal site is legitimate and not just a way to get your PP id and password.

Well, here's the whois information on the site ... and I checked the domain that has the contact email as well. Mr. Orlando appears to have TWO locations and they aren't really close together ... This does not inspire confidence in me. The sites are getting services from the same web hosting company, but it's unusual for a domain admin to have two diffrent contact addresses.

What a dumb idea this is. This whole thing is based on the idea that everyone leaves plenty of money in their paypal accounts.
What about all of us (myself included) that keep a ZERO balance in our paypal accounts.
I suppose they will just transfer the money in from our cc or checking accounts first???????? ABSURD

Yeah, what a dumb idea, they create a site that fixes most of the complaints we have about ebay and expect us to use it...boy, the nerve of those...
