Does anyone who signed up with exchange path for the free listing day by putting the logo on their Ebay Auctions see the $10 sign up fee in their Exchange account? My account balance still says 0? When are we suppose to get the $10 sign up fee anybody know? With Paypal it was right away.

As soon as you close your first deal and someone pays you say $100, you will have $110 in your account. Then Exchangepath will say "sorry but it was a fraudulent payment." They will freeze your account, take back the $100 and the $10 for the charge back fee. So hang in there. You'll soon be enjoying that $10 for about 5 minutes.

Yisgood,
Is Exchangepath automatically calling all transactions fraudulent, then taking the money back? I didn't know that.

Not neccesarilly all transactions, that was just an exageration. But it's not an exageration to say that of all the payment services out there, EP is the worst. They have frozen almost everyone's accounts. Their risk management person doesnt answer his phone. They probably have the highest rate of fraud with stolen CC judging by the posts I have seen and in a debate with them, they refuse to do much about it. You can read my question as to why they wont send the seller the buyers address and their stupid response that his violates buyer's privacy and my question "how can you buy something mail order and expect to keep your address private?" to which they have not responded. This is a service that seems to be run by folks who don't have a clue and refuse to get one. Does $10 mean so much to you that you're willing to risk your whole business for it?

It is true that some accounts -- but not all by any measure -- have been temporarily suspended while we put new security measures in place. We believe these new procedures will virtually eliminate the use of fraudulent funds on our system and ensure that sellers have no problems with the funds that they receive.

It takes 2-3 weeks for your sign-up bonus to appear in your account. For a summary of the procedures, here's the AuctionWatch page where they're listed. Given that you've sign-up according to these guidelines, the bonus will be posted into your account and you will be able to access it.

Pam: Since you seem to pop here at intervals and answer questions, could you respond to the question I have posted inthe past few days in several other threads where you popped up.

Is Exchangepath considering the one move that will virtually eliminate fraudulent credit cards - sending the sellers the cardholder's billing address? Your reps have been telling folks on the phone that you will do that but in your last post to me you said that you would not.

Just FYI - Paypal does it now. If you are copying their mistakes, why don't you copy what they do right?

I like EP and use it for my auctions...

Growth is hard--hang in there EP and give us some great safeguards. I know you are working on it!

yisgood,
I posted our current policy, which states that ExchangePath does not provide sellers with the buyer's billing address. We are evaluating whether to change this policy once our new security enhancements are in place.

Pam - how much longer will I have to wait for a phone call to be returned or my email to be answered to get off of the list of "those suspended" because a bank account or credit card number was not on my account. I would like to do it now but there is no way possible until someone from exchangepath lets me enter it. I need to send out some EOA notices to buyers but I won't tell them to use EP if my account is still suspended. Please give me some hint of how much longer! ANTEKS4U.

Its my understanding that now not only do you have to use the exchangepath logo to get the $10 but someone has to pay you with exchangepath also(and it has to be through the auctionwatch post sale management). Is this the case?????
I found 99.5% of my buyers refused to fill out the wbn notices so they surely are not going to pay using the post sale management on aw.
