I found this fabric at a yard sale and was wondering if anyone could help me put a date to it. Its about 50 inches wide and on the selvage is printed "screen printed on 100% linen vat colors preshrunk". It's in excellent condition so I don't know if it is vintage or a reproduction. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

While HCQ is searching the internet for the exact date of manufacture and a complete history of the company, I think I'll take a stab at it.

Ugly??? I was asking how many yards you had because I kind of like it. Nice neutral textury kind of stuff.
Too bad it's only 3 yards. 8 or 9 would be more marketable, but I'm sure it'll do fine. I sold some truly forgettable stuff a few weeks back for I think about $8/yard. I'd fished it out of the flea market trash heap. Go figure.

It is a nice piece of fabric, just not my cup of tea, otherwise it would be in my personal stash instead of heading toward ebay.
I wondered if three yards isn't really enough for piece like this but what the heck, I'll give it a try.
