I just bid on, and won, something I wanted.

I bid on this item despite the over-inflated shipping charge, since it had the lowest starting bid and still worked out the cheapest.

I just got the EOA....

If I want to use PayPal, I need to include $3.00 to cover the fees.

Since when does it cost $3.00 to receive $14???

Edited to add... No, the $3 charge was not in the auction itself

Not only is it a rip off, it is against Ebay rules. I would tell the seller that is against Ebay rules to charge a surcharge based upon payment method. In addition, you can report him for adding additional charges AFTER the end of the auction, which is not allowed, either.
