Well I am as frustrated as can be. Tried to update my credit card information and what a can of worms. My credit card (check visa card perfectly good mind you) would work because of their verification number. By the way I have been a customer since the beginning. Called my bank they say it is paypals problem and they have been getting calls with the same complaint. Now that card is banned. Go and get another card from the bank....fill in that number and the same thing happens. Is this paypal's way of sellers keeping money in their accounts? Sounds like it because if they disable your ability to use card you have to use your paypal money to spend money. THIS IS SO OLD. I wrote to customer service, got a auto email back saying they would read my email, get another email back "basically sorry we can't help you use another card" We'll HELLO if none of the numbers work.....
Didn't think I would ever take off paypal from my auctions but WHY don't they want to HELP their bread and butter???? Why do their customer support people not realize that instead of those pat answers in their emails if they helped their patrons Fix the Problem they might get more people to use their service. Thanks all who are here to hear me vent. I just want to pay for the auctions I bid on!

I called customer service, they forwarded my information to the finance department. They emailed me saying they received my information and would get back to my email. They emailed me back saying that basically the credit card is blocked. Nothing I could do. Now I put in another card and the same problem. Talking to customer support didn't help before how would going through the same process again help me? I really wanted paypal to work for me but mostly for my customers but if I am not the only one with this problem. Is there anyway of unblocking these cards? I've run out of numbers. My bank can issue me another card but after two already then what?
