I received a claim form from the U.S. post office. The customer who applied for the claim has never contacted me that there was any problem. The postal form has the mail receipt from the insured mail. He would not have that unless he received the package.
I know that the stone was not damaged unless the post office tore up the bubble envelope and riped it out of the additional box that I put it in inside the bubble envelope. I have mailed over 1000 packages like this and never had a problem.
I am debating if I should just fill out the form and let the post office figure out if this guy is pulling a scam or tell them it may be a scam.
