Good morning! I have posted here before but not for awhile and everyone has always been so helpful that I just wanted to run this situation by some of you and see what you think... I sold a new plush item, never been out of the bag last week to a bidder who at first refused to pay postage. Postage is clearly stated in my auction ad(priority w/ confirmation and the buyer pays postage). Ok, well she would pay priority postage but not confirmation or insurance because, as she put it, the post office can never find anything. Well, that has not been my experieince, buy ok. I explain that withouth insurance, I am not responsible for anything that happens during transit and that I have been able to track things with confirmation and she replys that she has many friends who sell and none of them use it and also she doesn't bid on auctions with confirmation or handling fees(I don't charge handling). Well, I'm starting to think maybe she has me mixed up with another auction. I do a search and see that she bids a lot. All the auctions have stated shipping prices with confirmation and some with handling fees. So I start thinking, maybe I should just go ahead and pay the confirmation and insurance just in case something happens during shipping. I recieve her payment. No note of what the check is for. No address. But by this time, I know this bidder's name by heart and find her paperwork and ship out the item--with confirmation and insurance and I wait. The package arrives quickly and I receive an e-mail that she thinks the item is precious, however it is dirty. Huh!! The item is new, has never been out of it's bag. Never displayed. She writes that it must have been on display for sometime and that it is really dirty, but she has cleaned it with a toothbrush and it should be fine. I am now confused! Does she want a refund? Does she just want me to e-mail her back and deny the dirt? Oh, and she did leave positive feedback for me! I don't know if she wants to return it, she seems to think it's cute and she's cleaned it or if she wants a refund or what. Anyway, I haven't e-mailed her back(I haven't had time) and am not sure if I should just leave it where it is and go on life or what. I know it is the holday seasons and people are stressed. And I know she may just like to argue. Any suggestions? Thanks! And I hope everyone has a happy holiday!

You completed your transaction, you got your positive feedback, I say just leave it alone...the bidder sounds like a nut case or lonely/just wants to pester you.
________
I never had one, and I didn't want one, and I don't, so now I do...

Hi! I think you have really answered your own question...She paid, you shipped, she gave + feedback, you give + feedback, and move on. What you did was very good as far as adding the ins. ect. Just consider it customer service for your own piece of mind. Don't question what she has not asked yet. You did the right thing.
