I've had similar problems with ebay - and it all started about 2 weeks ago when they introduced the new ebay picture hosting - where the first two pics are free and then you have to pay for any further pics. I must admit that the hardest thing for me when I started selling on ebay 3 years ago was learning how to post pics, so I can see why they are offering this new service. However, it seems to be at the expense of people who list their pics in the old way (entering an html code in the description). I don't know why this should be an issue, since they don't hold the images in their computers... Evil me thought it must be some way or prioritizing requests for pics through ebay, so that those who listed pics the old way were being bumped by those who requested ebay pic services as a way to induce people to buy their picture service (cash grab). Good me is trying to tell myself that its a temporary glitch, or something. It does seem to be related to usage. In the middle of the night I'll bet your pics come up fine, but on SUndays and weekday evenings you have to reload several times to get the pics to appear. Same happens when you are actually listing - it has taken me up to 9 tries to get ebay to accept the html code (no, I haven't typed it in wrong...) ebay just won't find the pics and you have to keep clicking back and forth and back and forth until they finally pick them up... I wrote ebay about it, but I got one of their "Dear important person... " formletter like answers that suggested I didn't have the right html code... whatever...

Auction listings provide only a link to where they are stored on the web. If the pictures aren't stored on eBay's servers, eBay has no control over whether they load or not.
