Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing slow deposits from PayPal and Billpoint?

A customer paid using Billpoint on the 11th and in my account summary it states that Billpoint won't make the deposit until the 15th.

PayPal says that it will deposit in 3-4 business days. I've noticed that it has been that long and more.

Am I missing something? My customers want their stuff shipped right away because they've paid right away. Actually, I can't blame them!

Take care

Billpoint is pretty quick.
Paypal last week held three payments in "Pending" mode for most of the week. Ask them why and all I'd get are canned answers.

PayPal is REALLY slow. Makes me wonder what they're up to.

Same for me, Billpoint is moving pretty fast, Paypal just creeps along. I wouldn't mind the fees, but they are also cleaning up on the float!

I haven't had any slowness problems with PayPal. Withdrawls usually take 3-4 days. My last one was on Friday Nov. 3 and was in my bank account on Monday Nov. 6.

Billpoint always shows up in my bank account within 2 business days.

PayPal transfers usually take 3 days, however I've noticed they take longer if you request more than one withdrawal per day (what can I say? If I get more than a hundred or two $ in payments, I withdraw it from my PayPal account as quickly as I can). One will clear fairly quickly and the second shows up as pending for a couple/few more days.

Now AMAZON OneClick takes 5 business days... it never fails! That's the slow one for me.

FWIW...

Hi again,

Thanks for the info. I've got a few items closing tonight. I'll take careful note of the amount of days the whole process takes for me. I'm thinking about dropping PayPal and just sticking to Billpoint. Their system seems to run smoother. Although the customers seem pretty attached to Paypal.

Yeah, they are having lots of fun with the float!

Take care
