Seemingly since the day this plan was implemented my auctions are stiffing. I have been selling Football/Baseball/Basketball Media Guides for several months and many times either all or most got at least one bid. The last spate of guides went off almost all unsold. If you look at my listings you will see a huge string of football guides sitting there unbid upon. (each time i add a new string of these, they are not dupes of previously listed volumes.) I also have added three solid days of paper dolls I am selling for my aunt. Because these are pretty unique I have never had a problem selling them. I listed each with a buy it now price. Many of those have sold; But looking at the list of the remaining ones, there are almost no bids ! Could it be folks are exhausting their budgets on quick-get BIN items and leaving the others to wither ? I would think many of the remaining items would be picking up start bids from folks who didn't want to opt for the higher BIN price. I can't make a living listing 24 items a day and selling 5 a day. Not only that, wheres the fun in it ? YIKES !

Interesting point. If this is the case, I guess the answer is to figure out how to make it YOUR auctions that they are spending their "Buy it Now" budgets on.

I have put buy it now on a few of my items that I sell regularly. They always sell at a reasonable price but bids don't start until day 2 or 3. Now I get bids the first day. I guess they want to stop the buy it now process on them. IMHO.
