Morning all,
I was wondering is anyone else having a slow time right now with your buyers replying to your end of auction notices. It seems to take people forever to reply back. And here lately I seem to have to keep sending reminders out. And yes I do send the send this auction to a friend link through ebay at times too. So was just wondering if it is the time of year and everyone is too busy to keep up with there emails or what. I do not remember having it like this last year...

I have notcied more time between replies this past week as well. I was assuming it is because people are generally busier this time of year, between shopping, parties, etc. I wasn't selling last year, so I can't compare. But I know I am online a little bit less frequently right now myself. Also, I think this time of year I am getting customers that don't typically buy online, and need plenty of hand-holding. (that's not a problem, just an observation!)

Actually I have seen some speeding up-people who want to get their items before Christmas.
Sellers can help set the pace for promptness: Buy It Now, Credit card payments and so forth. I tell my bidders that by responding quickly they can get their stuff faster. If the bidder doesn't see the connection in terms of fast service, they can be very slow to respond.
