Hi. Well I have another stupid question. I got an e-mail from a potential buyer who said the image on one of my auctions wasn't loading. I checked it out and I could see it. I don't undertstand that. He asked me to e-mail the picture to him. He told me how to do it but it didn't work. I load my pictures and launch my auctions all thru AW. Can anyone here tell me how to do this? Is there anywhere it shows the name of this picture or do I have to go thru the pages of images to find it. I'm not sure of the exact name I gave it. Thanks.

You can use your right mouse button to right click on the image that is showing in your listing. Then choose 'View Info' and it will bring up all the image information including the name. (If info for more than one image comes up scroll through the list to find the ones with the AW preface and the name you gave it will be there as well.)

I sometimes have to click 'View Image' and then 'View Info' but I am using an older browser.

You can also right click on the image and then click 'save image as' and give it a new, short name. Then when you attach the image to your email message it is easy to remember.

Also go to your image management page on AW and make sure the image has been uploaded. You may be able to see it because the image is loading from your 'C' drive rather than from AW. If the image has been uploaded to AW it should be showing.

Hope this helps.

Edited because I am not awake yet and need more coffee!

If you've still got the pictures on your hard drive, find which one it is, then use the "attach" function when you reply to him.

Thanks a lot. I'm going to try. The pictures I put on AW thru image hosting aren't on my hard drive are they?

mommoo,

The pictures in your image hosting at AuctionWatch had to come from somewhere and the most likely place is your computer hard drive

Joice - I feel like a real dummy. I take my pictures with my digital camera then I rename them on ArcSoft (installed program from Sony Mavica)Then I load them into Image Hosting. You know my son says I don't know enough about the computer. I know enough to buy and sell but my basic knowledge isn't very good. Someone told me once that the pictures aren't stored on my hard drive. I think I need to go get a book or take a class!!!!!
