I've have over 1000 positive comments and someone just gave me a negative feedback for this "Payment was made the next day but item did not ship until 4 days later." is there anything I can do about this.
Thanks, Mike

Mike-sorry this happened to you. I just wanted to encourage you to respond calmly because I just ran across a seller with 900+ who had just gotten their 1st Neg and they responded with-Liar! Cheat! Deadbeat! ect! It bothered me for some reason. Here he had all kinds of great things said about him by other buyers but this one set him off and his response seemed somehow non-professional.I passed the item by. I know that doesn't seem fair, but that's just the effect it had on me. So be good to yourself! In fact you have already come up with the best response:
"The package got there 3 days after I mailed it for a total of 7 days."

Actually, it depends on how much you want to humble yourself, how bad the other party is, and how much it is worth to you.
Unless you've already burned your bridges, you could contact the bidder, aplogize profusely, and convince the buyer that you really didn't deserve the negative.
I suspect that the best bet is if it is a newbie who doesn't understand how serious negative feedback is.
Anyway, if you can accomplish that, and you want to pay $15, you can go through mediation at Squaretrade. Both parties agree that the feedback should be removed. The arbitrator emails Ebay and they remove it.
