I have to ship 34 LP records, and would appreciate input on how to properly pack and ship these. I've shipped record albums before, but never this many at a time. They seem to weigh about 20 poounds. Thank you in advance for your help!

I sell Records of all types all the time.
This packing is no trouble you say you have 20 LPs so.
Take some paper Wrap up 4 packages of 5 Lps each then get two big boxes heavy card board tear them apart send two packages each with two wrap packages of records build your own box around each.
wraping the LPs in stacks of 5 will keep them from moveing all over loose in the boxes.
packing all 20 togeather in one package would make the package so heavy it will bend in the center and crush the records under there own weight.
Get you self some string like butchers twine and wrap it around each package up and down and side to side these will be heavy boxes if you dont band your Boxes they will do it with plastic bands at the PO before shipping many times they band so tight they nearly cut a package in half so band the boxes your self.
Lps are pretty tough if you ship in two self made to fit boxes you should have no trouble only praying you will need is that you charged enough postage the PO charges me $6.20 two ship 5 Lps inside the USA and I just shipped one Lp to Ireland buyer wanted air mail the Po charged $12.35 for this.
