Auction Assistant Classic & Auction Assistant Pro by Blackthorne Software. I've used AA Pro since its release (classic before that) and wouldn't be without it. I can't think of anything it doesn't do. The only drawback is the price. I think AA Pro is about $200 now. A business expense I have never regretted.

After trying several of the software systems for auctions and not being happy with any of them I came across AuctionTrakker which gjsi mentioned above. It has saved me incredible amounts of time and automates the entire process.

I list all of the features in another thread currently going on auction management software here at AW at:

Hmm do any of these support multiple ebay ids/the ability to save old data and then swtich to a new id?

AA Pro does all of that. I use 2 IDs and have every auction I've written and every sale I've made in the last 2 years ( a few thousand!)

I should add that I use the latest beta versions, but have no problems. The betas are available to all registered users. Also, Blackthorne is now an eBay company, so they get the 'inside scoop' on upcoming changes and have software modifications ready very soon after changes are made.

Another drawback just came to mind... as a result of ebay's acquisition of Blackthorne, any plans to support other auction sites have been abandoned for now. That doesn't bother me, but would be a major factor if I used other auction sites. The upside is that they can concentrate their efforts on one platform.

Do you think blackthorne software would have protectiosn in place that would notice if one ID had been suspended and send info back to ebay on the other ids? (See my other thread for explanation "EBAY SUPSENDS FOR NO REASON" or something like that)

ed123: Yes, AuctionTrakker does. The inventory module even has you assign which ID is selling what item.

Does auction trakker work fine for auctions that are ended early (or better yet offer the ability to end auctions early)?

I don't think any of the management packages allow you to directly end an auction from their software. I think that is something specific to ebay.

As far as auctions ended early, such as Buy It Now, AuctionTrakker works just fine. Yesterady, it recognized a BIN which ended and also one I had placed on someone else's item.

Is there anyone here who has made a comparison between Ebud and Auction Trackker?

I have been using the free trial with Ebud and have been quite pleased with it, but would like an opinion before I start paying for it.

TIA,

avmom (not avmom on Ebay)
