I know when I relist an item that did not sell and it sells the second time around I get my listing fee refunded.
So what happens when I relist my Free listing day auctions ? Will ebay credit my account if the item sells the second time around ?
I just thought about this and it seems to good to be true.

normally, if your item sells the 2nd time around they refund the insertion fee for the 2nd listing...
therefore if you relist on a Free Listing Day, there's no 2nd insertion fee for them to refund because you were never charged one...
or at least that's the way I understand it...

I think the question is: you list on FLD. You pay no listing fee. Auction closes; it doesn't sell. What happens if you relist at that time? Ebay charges you 25 cents, or whatever, but then if it sells, do they waive that fee?

Last year, when I relisted my Free Listing Day listings that did not sell, eBay charged a listing fee but since it was considered a relisted item, that fee was indeed refunded for all items sold after being relisted.
I do not see why it would be different this year.
Edited for clarity (I hope)

Keziak...
you're absolutely right...I misread the post...
I believe in that case, you WILL get the refund...
it doesn't matter how it started...
a relist is a relist...
I would suggest also, that if the refund doesn't show up within a week of the sale of the item, that you email them and ask politely for it...
of course, if it doesn't work, then by all means, all bets are off
