I had a credit card charge on September from a company in Russia called Incomtel for a small amount (around $15.00). It is a Russian Internet service provider. Of course, I never registered, authorized or use any Russian service. I disputed the charge.

I ask if I should cancel my card and the credit card company (VISA) said to wait until the charge was reversed, otherwise it would be a problem for myself to have a refund. The charge was cancelled a month later.

Then, in October and November, 3 more charges from a company called INET, a telecom also from Russia. All small amounts, from $5.00 to $15.00. Same story.

Again, they do not want to cancel my card until charges are reversed! In the article above, they said they did it again, under a different name, in December.

I fear this will go on forever!
