Just noticed this when I went to update my email templates:
Completing your purchase online takes just a few moments and your
information is used ONLY to get your item to you. Your information
will never be sold to a third party.
Don't know how long that's been in the uneditable part of the template, but I wonder if they've been doing some lurking over here.

I emailed someone over there asking if that was true. They told me they had been reading that previous thread about people not trusting Andale's checkout. They found it very interesting and this may have led up to this recent addition to the email template.
