I was getting the "Aol presents" screens a couple weeks ago, then never saw them again or saw mention of it. I am concerned.

Although, I would strongly doubt an AOL take over - my second thought would be, "what the heck," as I don't see what difference it would make - in fact anyone taking over eBay "IF" they removed some of the current eBay upper management, I would only see that as an improvement. AND, just think, they might even purchase some equipment that would keep the site up and running!!! Oh well, that would be too much of a miracle to hope for, wouldn't it?

If memory serves (and it's a bit rusty right now) eBay & AOL did have some sort of deal a while back. It has to do with eBay advertising on AOL. If you are an AOLer you can go directly to eBay using AOL Keyword eBay. Using that route your will get an eBay home page that has an AOL title bar on the top & the screen will read "AOL Presents"...It's not my normal route (anything running thru AOL is much slower)...but I just tried it and you still get the AOL Presents home page....If you are not an AOLer and you got this page, it may have been just a UCG (Unidentified Cyber Glitch)....

I am using Rogers Cable and if I type in "eBay" on Explorer it will bring up the homepage. It always has for me anyway.

I would not even want to think about AOL taking over eBay.I cannot see that leading to anything positive in the technical end of things. But then I could be wrong?
