I had four auctions scheduled to close during the outage. One of which had a bid of $27, and probably would not have gotten another bid before it closed (it's possible... I suppose).

This morning it now has a bid of $30, and the winning bidder is not the two that were duking it out before, so it's likely that it could go even higher before it ends tonight.

To top it all off, I won't have to pay any fees for these auctions - gee I wish I would have sprung for a featured catagory auction now ;->

I had about 15 or so auctions that should have closed during the outage. I don't know how much bids were affected in these auctions, but I did save quite a bit in fees!

We had 1300 auctions ending during the outage. We'll save $1,000.00+ on fees and the bidding is still hot on our items.

So... this is actually a good thing - sort of like a Free Listing Day!

Hooray!

Now all we can do is hope that eBay picks up on this and makes it a regular feature!
