When I was trying to access a listing on Ebay today my browser (Netscape) hung on the listing and took a while to load the page. What seemed to be slowing this down was a link to e-Snipe. (Message at bottom of browser window said something like contacting host esnipe.com) When it finally said host contactd the page loaded in.
Now why would it be contacting e-snipe? I heard that eBay bought out e-snipe, but have never seen this message displayed before. When the page loaded there was nothing about e-snipe on it. Just wondered if someone had perhaps placed a snipe bid on the item and this was how it was showing up.
